A Free Day in Costa Rica

Today was a free day to do whatever we wanted, but we chose to spend a part of it together as a group doing a zipline activity and getting lunch. The zipline tour included 14 lines and a Tarzan swing. It was really fun to fly over the forest canopy and watch our classmates face their fears.

We then had lunch together at the Tree House. It is a lovely restaurant with a tree growing through the center of the building and out the roof. Another tourist with a different study abroad group commented that our group looked happy and comfortable with each other after we explained that we were finishing up a short trip with each other. I thought that comment accurately summed up our adventure from complete strangers to friends over the course of eight days.
